Our story
A box of confetti
We met in a tiny sweet shop in the Oltrarno on a rainy March afternoon. Henri was looking for sugared almonds for his sister’s wedding; Ludovica walked off with the last box. He was left without almonds, and she without an excuse to turn down a coffee.
Seven springs, a great many trains between Florence and Lyon and the odd burnt cake later, we want to celebrate where it all began: in the hills, with the lemon trees in blossom and all of you around the table.
Together with their families, Ludovica and Henri joyfully invite you to their wedding at a villa among cypresses and lemon trees.

The day itself
- Ceremony in the limonaia Among the lemon trees in their terracotta pots, with the doors open to the garden.
- Drinks in the garden Basil lemonade, a string trio and the evening sun on the parterres.
- Dinner under the pergola Long tables, wisteria and candles as soon as the light begins to fade.
- The cake Three tiers of sugar, a toast and your bomboniere.
- Dancing On the terrace, with the lights of the city far below.

Getting there
Coaches from the city
The villa sits at the end of a cypress lane with no parking, so we’ll bring you up ourselves: two coaches will leave central Florence at 16:15 and make the return trip throughout the night.
