Our story

Looking up

For you, with all our love

Victoria taught dance classes on Thursdays in a ballroom with a beautiful plaster ceiling. Lorenzo, an architect, had come to measure that ceiling for its restoration and spent the whole class looking up.

When it ended, she held out her hand for the last waltz. The next Thursday he came back, this time to dance.

Six years later, we want to get married beneath a ceiling rose like that one. And to celebrate it with you.

Since that Thursday we still look up, but together.

Palacete Almagre

Lapa · Lisbon · Fictional setting

A town palace imagined for this sample, high up in Lapa: 18th-century plaster ceilings, a ballroom with a painted oculus and a lemon-tree garden looking over the Tagus. On a real website, this is where the exact address, parking and map link would go.

How to get there

  • By taxi: about twenty minutes from the airport and ten from Chiado.
  • By coach: we’re laying one on from Praça do Comércio (see “Practical information”).
  • By tram: line 25 stops a five-minute walk away, uphill.
