RSVPOur story
A sheet of vellum
For you, with all our love For , with all our love
We met in a bookbinding workshop in Venice. Julian was restoring antique books, and Aurelia came in looking for cotton paper for her sister’s wedding invitations.
He wrapped her parcel in a sheet of translucent vellum paper, the way it used to be done, wrote his own name on it in pencil and laid a rose from the workshop’s courtyard on top. It took her three weeks to come back. He still keeps that sheet.
Now it is our turn to send an invitation, and it carries a rose too, just like that parcel. We would love to celebrate with you.
Ever since, everything that matters reaches us wrapped in paper.
