Legal information

Terms and conditions

The rules of our work together: what you are buying, what it costs, how and when we deliver it, and what rights you have.

Version 2026-10dLast updated:

This is a translation provided for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Who we are and what these terms cover

These general terms and conditions govern the contracting of the services of AMPERSAND, the trading name of Francesco Junior De Liso (natural person; Tax ID (NIF): Y5817122E; Calle Domingo J. Navarro, n.º 1, Planta 2, Oficina 5, 35002 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas), Spain; hello@ampersandweb.com), through www.ampersandweb.com or in writing with the studio.

They apply to all orders placed since their publication, in the version accepted at the time of contracting (which we keep with each order). Any specific terms we agree with you in writing (for example, a tailored timeline) prevail over these terms to the extent that they modify them.

You must be of legal age to contract. If you contract as consumers — for your own wedding, outside any business or professional activity — you are also protected by consumer legislation, in particular the consolidated text of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (TRLGDCU, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). If you contract as a business or professional (for example, a wedding agency), the rules that apply exclusively to consumers, such as the right of withdrawal, do not apply to you.

What services we offer

We design and produce, in digital format: wedding websites (with RSVP, an integrated map and information for guests), digital invitations, save the dates, monograms and print-ready digital on-the-day stationery (PDF files). They are offered in three packages — Essential, Complete and Premium — and can also be given as a present with gift cards.

We do not offer physical printing or ship any products: stationery is delivered as high-quality PDFs, and printing, materials, shipping and assembly are your responsibility or are quoted separately.

Support is provided in writing (email and the client area), with a designer dedicated to your wedding. The only video call included is the one in Premium (see support).

What each package includes

The content of each package is as described on the packages page at the time you place your order and in your order summary. In essence:

All three packages also include: digital invitation, wedding website with a personalised link, animated opening, illustration of your venue, RSVP with menus, allergies and plus-ones, guest dashboard exportable to Excel, integrated map with directions and accommodation, background music (Essential), animated cover with music (Complete) or an original opening video (Premium), wedding checklist (Essential) or full planner (Complete and Premium), unlimited sends to guests, a digital thank-you after the wedding and a website that stays live until 12 months after the wedding.

The guest dashboard, the checklist and the planner are delivered as a private online spreadsheet (or a fillable PDF) that we prepare for your wedding and share only with you. Stationery pieces, rounds or services beyond what your package includes are quoted separately, always in writing and before the work is done.

Prices and taxes

All prices are in euros and include the applicable indirect taxes (VAT or IGIC, as appropriate). It is a one-off payment per wedding: no subscriptions or renewals.

PackageLaunch priceStandard price
Essential€149€179
Complete€349€449
Premium€599€790

The launch price is for the first 20 couples who book and pay for a package on the website, and at the latest for bookings made until 31 January 2027 at 23:59 (mainland Spain time), whichever comes first. Once the 20 places are taken, or after that date, the standard price applies. A payment in progress holds its place while it is open (one hour at most) and frees it if it expires or the bank declines it. Gift cards for a package follow the price in force on the day of purchase and do not take up a place. The price that binds you is the one shown in the order summary when you pay or the one we confirm to you in writing in our proposal.

Express delivery (Essential and Complete only): first complete version in 1–4 working days for an additional €80, taxes included, provided we have all the information and materials. It is confirmed in writing with the booking before it is charged.

Upgrading your package: you can move to a higher package at any time by paying only the difference between the two; we confirm the exact amount in writing before charging it, and you keep all the work already done.

If you have a valid promotional code, the discount is applied to the current price of the package in accordance with its promotion terms.

How to book

You can book in two ways:

  1. Online: you choose a design and package, fill in the booking request and review the order summary (package, design, what it includes and the total including taxes). Before paying you must tick the mandatory box accepting these terms, which is never pre-ticked. You then pay in Stripe’s secure form, on the same page.
  2. In writing: you send us the booking request without paying and we reply with availability, details and how to pay. The contract is concluded when you accept our proposal and pay.

When you book online, the contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. We confirm it to you by email: you receive the payment receipt and access to your client area with your order code. You can correct any errors in your details before paying, in the form itself, and afterwards by writing to us.

The contract may be concluded in Spanish, English, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch or Arabic (the language of the page on which you book). We keep the electronic contract document (order details, version of the terms accepted and proof of payment) and will provide it to you on request. You can save or print these terms at any time from this page.

Payment and invoice

Online payment is made by card and by the other methods shown in Stripe’s form (for example, Apple Pay or Google Pay). The full price of the package is charged at the time of booking. Payment details are processed directly by Stripe, over a secure connection; we never see them.

If you have a gift card, enter its code in the booking request: we check it and confirm in writing how it is applied and whether there is any amount left to pay. If you nonetheless pay the full price online while entering a code, we will check the code and refund its value to the same payment method.

We issue the invoice with the billing details you provide when paying and send it to you by email.

Delivery times

We deliver the first complete version in 7–10 working days in all three packages. The clock starts once we have all the information and materials we need (the ones we ask you for, step by step, in the client area) and refers to the first complete version; the time taken by later revisions depends on the corrections you ask for. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

In Premium, scheduling is prioritised and, if your wedding requires it, we agree a tailored timeline. In Essential and Complete you can ask for express delivery (see prices).

If materials arrive incomplete or late, the time is counted from when they are complete. If, for reasons attributable to us, we cannot meet the deadline, we will let you know as soon as we are aware of it and propose a new date; if that doesn’t suit you, you may terminate the contract and we will refund what you paid for anything not yet provided.

Revisions and changes

There are two kinds of changes:

  • Design revisions, in rounds depending on the package: 1 with Essential, 2 with Complete and 3 with Premium. Fixing errors never counts as a round. Additional rounds are quoted separately, in writing and before they are carried out.
  • Event information changes — date, times, ceremony venue, reception location and any other details your guests need — are unlimited in all three packages right up to the wedding day, as long as they don’t involve changing the structure of the website or redesigning it. If the wedding is postponed, the change of date counts as an information change.

Changes that involve a redesign or new work outside what you contracted are quoted separately.

Support and video call

A designer dedicated to your wedding looks after you in writing, by email and through the client area, and replies within 48 working hours (Essential), 24 working hours (Complete) or the same working day (Premium). That way everything is clear and on record.

Only Premium includes a private 30-minute video call with the designer, which is scheduled with you once the booking is confirmed. Essential and Complete do not include video calls. Additional video calls, where offered, are a paid service whose price we tell you in writing before you book them.

Your cooperation and your materials

So that we can do our work, you agree to provide us with accurate and complete information, the materials (photos, texts, event details) and your feedback on our proposals within a reasonable time, and to review each version carefully before approving it: we are not responsible for errors in information you have given us or approved.

By sending us photos, texts, music or other materials, you warrant that you hold the necessary rights for us to use them in your order, including the consent of the people who appear in the photos (right to one’s own image, Spanish Organic Act 1/1982) and the copyright of whoever took them (for example, your photographer). You authorise us to use them solely to carry out and publish your order. If a third party makes a claim regarding any material you have given us, we will ask you to take responsibility for it.

You are responsible for the content you publish on your website and for sharing it with your guests. We may refuse to publish content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.

Intellectual property and licence of use

The designs, illustrations, monograms, animations, original music, code and other creations of the studio are the work of the owner, who retains the intellectual property rights in them. Upon full payment we grant you a personal, non-commercial licence of use, for your wedding and its memories, which allows you to:

  • use your wedding website while it is live and share its link without limit;
  • print the digital stationery as many times as you like for your wedding and keep the files;
  • use your monogram on personal items for your wedding and on your keepsakes (for example, on the cake, the decorations or an embroidered garment), including after the wedding.

You may not resell the designs or the files, use them for commercial purposes, register them as a trade mark or modify them to create products for third parties. The original music is licensed solely for use within your website.

The designs in the Essential and Complete packages are based on our catalogue, which other couples may also choose. The exclusive design and monogram in Premium are created only for you: we will not reuse them for other couples or sell them.

Your materials remain yours. We will only show your website or your designs as examples of our work (on the website or on social media) if you give us your express written permission, which you can withdraw whenever you like.

Your website: publication, link and duration

Your wedding website has its own personalised link with your names (for example, elsidelauraymarcos.com). The domain details — the form of the link, registration and ownership — are confirmed to you in writing with the booking; if the name you prefer is not available, we will suggest alternatives.

The website is live from delivery until 12 months after the wedding date (if the wedding is postponed, the period runs from the new date). After that period we may deactivate it and delete its content, in accordance with the privacy policy.

We host the websites with a professional provider and take reasonable steps to keep them available at all times, although there may be brief interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control, which we will resolve as quickly as possible.

Your guests’ data (data processing)

When you publish your website and its RSVP, you decide what data to ask your guests for and why: you are the controllers of that data and the studio acts as processor (Article 28 of the GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). This clause governs that processing arrangement:

Subject matter and duration
Hosting the website and its RSVP form, receiving the replies and preparing your guest dashboard, while the website is live.
Data and data subjects
Whatever you ask for in the RSVP: usually name, attendance, plus-ones (who may include children), menu choice and food allergies or intolerances. Allergies and intolerances are health data: ask for them only if you need them and inform your guests. Make it an optional question and use the answers only to plan the menu with your caterer.
Our obligations
To process the data only on your instructions and for this purpose; to ensure confidentiality; to apply appropriate security measures; to help you respond to your guests’ requests to exercise their rights; to notify you without undue delay of any security breach; and to make available to you the information needed to demonstrate compliance.
Sub-processors
You authorise the use of our hosting provider (Hostinger) and, for the guest dashboard, of the online spreadsheet service we tell you about before using it (for example, Google or Microsoft). We will inform you of any change so that you can object.
On termination
If you ask, we give you the export of the guest dashboard, and we delete the data within 3 months at most from when the website stops being live, unless the law requires us to keep it.

On request, we include in the RSVP an information notice for your guests with your contact details.

Gift cards

A AMPERSAND gift card is a digital document with a unique code that allows the named couple to book a specific package or apply an amount (from €20 to €2,000) to our services. It can be bought by paying online or by written request; the code is issued once payment is complete and the card is delivered as you choose (to the giver or, on the preferred date, directly to the couple).

  • Redemption: the couple enters the code in their booking request; we check it and apply it to their package or service. If the amount does not cover everything, the couple pays the difference.
  • Package card: entitles the couple to that package even if its price has changed between purchase and redemption.
  • Validity: 24 months from purchase, unless the card states a longer period.
  • Balance: if the card’s amount exceeds the price of what is booked, the balance can be applied to other studio services for the same couple while the card is valid.
  • The card cannot be exchanged for cash. The welcome promotional code does not apply to the purchase of gift cards.
  • Whoever buys a card may withdraw within 14 calendar days of purchase, without giving any reason, provided the card has not been redeemed (see withdrawal): we refund the full amount.

Commercial guarantee and legal guarantee

In addition to your legal rights, we offer this commercial guarantee free of charge:

  • Essential: you can switch to another catalogue design at no cost as long as we haven’t started the first version.
  • Complete and Premium: if the first proposal isn’t quite you, we redo it once from scratch.

To use it, just tell us in writing — for Essential, before we start the first version and, for Complete and Premium, when you receive the first proposal. The commercial guarantee is not a refund and is in addition to the legal guarantee, without limiting it.

Legal guarantee of conformity: we are liable for any lack of conformity of the digital content and digital services we deliver to you under Articles 114 et seq. of the TRLGDCU. If something does not conform to what you contracted, you can require us to bring it into conformity free of charge and, if that is not possible or we fail to do so within a reasonable time, a price reduction or termination of the contract. For your website, which is supplied continuously, we are liable throughout the period in which it is live; for the files we deliver to you, for two years from delivery.

Right of withdrawal

If you are consumers, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day the contract is concluded (the day of payment, when you book online).

To exercise it, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement before the period expires: by email to hello@ampersandweb.com or by post to Calle Domingo J. Navarro, n.º 1, Planta 2, Oficina 5, 35002 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas), Spain. You may use the model form, but it is not obligatory. It is sufficient for you to send your communication before the period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment as you used (unless we expressly agree otherwise), at no cost to you.

If you ask us to start during the withdrawal period

As you will usually want us to start straight away, after you book we will ask you in writing (by email) to expressly request that we begin work within the withdrawal period and to acknowledge that you are aware of these consequences:

  • If you withdraw after we have started, you will pay us an amount proportionate to the part of the service already provided up to the time you inform us of your withdrawal, in comparison with the full price (Article 108(3) of the TRLGDCU). We will set out the calculation in writing and refund the rest.
  • Once the service has been fully performed, you will lose the right of withdrawal (Article 103(a) of the TRLGDCU).

We will confirm that request and your acknowledgement by email. Without that request, we will wait until the withdrawal period has ended before we begin.

Gift cards

Whoever buys a gift card may withdraw within 14 calendar days of purchase, provided it has not been redeemed; we refund the full amount on the same terms.

Model withdrawal form

Model set out in Annex B of the TRLGDCU. You can copy it, print it or send it by email:

Cancellations after the withdrawal period

After the withdrawal period, you can cancel your order at any time by writing to us. If we have not yet started work, we refund the full amount. If we have already started, we refund the amount paid less the part proportionate to the work done up to the cancellation, which we will set out for you in writing. Once your website has been delivered and published, the service is deemed to have been provided.

If the wedding is postponed, there is no need to cancel: the change of date is an included information change and the website period runs from the new date.

If, for reasons on our side (for example, illness or force majeure), we are unable to provide the service, we will let you know as soon as possible and refund what you paid for the part not provided or, if you prefer and it is possible, agree a new timeline.

Liability

We are liable for performing what has been contracted in accordance with the law. We are not liable for damage caused by inaccurate information or materials that you have provided or approved, by the use of the website by third parties unrelated to us, by interruptions or failures of third-party services (networks, email providers or guests’ devices) that we cannot reasonably control, or by force majeure.

If you contract as a business or professional, our liability is limited to the price paid for the service concerned. Nothing in the foregoing limits any liability towards consumers that cannot be limited by law.

Customer service and complaints

For any question, issue or complaint, write to hello@ampersandweb.com or to our postal address. We will reply as soon as possible and in any event within one month at most. If you prefer, you can ask us for the official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

We are not a member of any consumer arbitration scheme or alternative dispute resolution body. Even so, you can contact the consumer services of your autonomous community or the Directorate-General for Trade and Consumer Affairs of the Government of the Canary Islands and, if you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in Spain.

The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, so it can no longer be used for complaints.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are consumers, you retain the protection afforded to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside, and the courts of your place of residence shall have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you contract as a business or professional, the courts and tribunals of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria shall have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms for the future. Each order is governed by the version in force when it was placed, which we keep with the order; the current version and its date are shown at the top.
